We will repair or replace (at our option) any such defective product when it is returned by the original owner with a copy of the original receipt. The repair or replacement will be without charge except for reasonable shipping, handling and insurance charges.

International (outside of Canada and USA) Ordering

I'd looked at several rails. Only a couple were specifically for the M39. I had a LER scope and wasn't looking for a complicated installation. This seemed the best option but I had my doubts. As it turned out they were for naught. It fit perfectly and very stable. Under fire, it has remained so! Now those tiny hogs are brought within sight and more importantly within Range.

Both the Finnish and BadAce deserve kudos for excellent engineering and manufacture. Especially BadAce for their accurate location of the mounting. A minute mis-location wouldn't have allowed placement of the mount. It fits exactly in every dimension and most importantly, it provides an extremely stable base for the scope. The placement of the mount fits many LER scopes I've found. Those I'm familiar with offer an 8" to 10.5" relief which fits this mount to a Tee. In addition the scope is located with ample room to cock as well as provide an excellent sight picture. All this has improved my odds of taking a big hog!

What an awesome mount! I attached this M-39 mount to a Model 28-76 target/sniper variant of the Finnish Mosin. It fit perfectly. The quality of engineering and manufacturing was exceptional. My long eye relief scope fit perfectly. The mount attached easily and required only 6 minutes of vertical, and 3 minutes of horizontal adjustment From a centered reticle for a 200 yard zero. The first 3 round group easily came in at under one inch. This mount has now helped me turn this excellent milsurp rifle into a very viable stand deer hunting tool. Thank you for a great product! Finally the range was OK'd by the local sheriff's dept. I took the Finnish M39 with a 2x7 scope on the scout mount and a few hundred rounds of Bulgarian ammo. I sighted the scope in using the old look down the barrel center the target and adjust the crosshairs to match. I fired three shots and was disappointed they hit low and left. I tried adjusted to the center with the scope knobs and quickly ran out of adjustments. Then I noticed the scope was loose. I checked and the screw was out. I took the scope off and using a set of allen wrenches screwed the screw back in and tightened as best as possible to avoid striping the threads on the rear sight of the rifle. I was still out of adjustments on the scope but chose to start over. Eureka, the shots allowed me to releave the scope's maxed out settings and I was able to shoot the center out of the target at 50 yards. I then chose a 200 yard target and walked the rounds into solid hits consistently. I was pleasantly surprised to see the mount withstand the impact of 75 rounds fired and a really hot barrel.

The installation went well. The little set screw took some effort but finally came loose. My only complaint was that the rail is a bit loose at the front end of the rear sight base. I have to figure out how to tighten this area. Maybe by peening, a washer or a drop of metal epoxy.

I have a 1944 Sako Mosin-Nagant M39 rifle. It shoots well with the original front adjustable mechanic sights and my original vision. To address the later issue I needed optics. I did not want to tap the receiver (to keep M39’s C&R eligibility), so I ordered an ultra low-profile NDT Scout Mount for Finnish Mosin Nagant M39 from Bad Ace. It arrived timely with easy to follow instructions. I further obtained the torque values from Liam. It took about 12 minutes to install the mount, but the mount had some play at front. I contacted Liam again and after measurements I made, Liam concluded that the front jaw of my M39 is somewhat wider than those he encountered thus far. He immediately offered to make a replacement mount and sent it to me at no additional costs. This was all done with a couple of days. The replacement fits perfectly. I installed a Vortex Crossfire II 2-7X32 Scout Scope (CF2-31002) 1 in Tube V-Plex Reticle scope using Leupold PRW2 Mount Rings, 1 inch, Low, Matte, 174079 Riflescope Rings. I shoot at the highest magnification, as it is the simplest approach to me to deal with parallax/eye relief/eye-lens center alignment issues associated with scout scopes. I attach a picture of an initial shooting at 100 yards using factory ammo, Sellier & Bellot 7.62x54R Ammo 180 Grain Soft Point. As per measurement I provide in inches in the attached picture, the rifle shoots sub-MOA for 5 rounds at 100 yards. I have similar sub-MOA for 5 rounds success at 100 yards with Schmidt-Rubin 1896/11 (1900), Tula Dragoon Mosin-Nagant (1927), and Yugo Mausers M24-47 (between 1926-1928) and M48 (between 1950-52). Suffice to say without great mounts that would not be feasible. Thank you Liam and Bad Ace!

Hello, The mounting I have installed on the Finnish Mosin is great. It can also be mounted on a Finnish M28/30 ( as you can see on the picture) because this is the same rear sight. After, you just need to install a scope "scout" ( eye accomodation 24 cm) on it. Greetings

Perfect For Fin M39 This is my second mount of this type, the other was for a Kar98. Had the same experience and results: Super fast delivery. Easy install, and VERY secure. Again put a Weaver Classic “Scout” (LER) 4X28 Dual X Reticle (Product #84941) Rifle Scope with Burris Zee 1” Low Rings on it and it’s the PERFECT setup for me. Quick target acquisition, and sick accurate. I’m loving these mounts and HIGHLY recommend them ! Getting a third one for Gewehr 98 with late Traditional Kar98 Sights so I assume it will fit like on Kar98 ... We’ll see, and I’ll let you know.
